Create a love of drama, stimulating the imagination and developing language skills and dialogue. Improve voice production techniques and develop clear articulation skills. Develop creative and original thought in students of all ages, through mime/improvisation and theatre sports. Drama enables the student to connect their imagination, thoughts and feelings with drama practice in ways that give voice to the cultural diversity of New Zealand, providing an opportunity to express cultural and personal identity. Students will learn to trust each other and find an avenue of expression that is non-threatening and secure and develop an awareness of conflict and resolution.
